So this is like totally a red-letter day for me. I'll be honest; I'm the worst when it comes to follow through on sequels to my stories. Most of the time I start one, then I paint my characters into a corner and suddenly it's stuck in Development Hell, otherwise known as My Documents.
So excuse me for being super excited, but I just finished the second story for ‘The Underground' series. Finished, as in, it's done! It's kind of a big deal to me so just run with me on this one. The day I started writing this next part, entitled ‘Pitch Black', was the day I finished ‘The Mercenary'. Honestly, I had no idea where I was going with it, and I just started typing. For a while there, I was worried I was going nowhere with the story, and considered abandoning the project and starting anew.
Thank. God. I. Did. Not.
I'm actually really pleased at the way it turned out, and I hope all of you enjoy it as well. As you can see, it's not posted yet. Here's the reason; I know you all noticed the grammatical mistakes that peppered ‘The Mercenary', so I'm trying to work on that. This is because I was a little quick to the draw on posting it. This time, I'm going to have someone proofread my work so you don't have to put up with all stupid mistakes that I've made.
I'm tempted, but am refraining from revealing anything about the plot at this point. All I'll tell you is that it's different from ‘The Mercenary' but at the same time, stays true to the tone set in ‘The Underground' series. If you enjoyed the first story this one shouldn't disappoint you.
So, be sure to keep an eye out for ‘Pitch Black'!
